Automatic Gate Service Fees

How much does an automatic gate service cost?


No repair is the same, while we do se common faults with some gate automation manufacturers, the type of motor, additional accessories installed, the type and size of the gate, service history and any damage done all play a part in how much a repair will cost.


Unfortunately due to this we are unable to quote for repairs, as we never know exactly what is wrong with the system until we pull it apart and start doing the work, as such, we operate on a do and charge basis for repairs.


Our fees are as follows:


  • Call out fee $180 plus GST, this includes the first 30 mins of labour and any small parts required, fuses, nuts, bolts, screws and lubricants (with the exception of hydraulic fluid)
  • Labour above the call out fee allocation is billed at $30 plus GST per 15 minute block.
  • Any additional parts are charged as required.
  • If you have a non standard system and we need to order parts in, we do charge for travel time to return to your property from our previous job site.
  • Our Service Call Fees are due and payable in full upon completion of works.


In order to avoid extra travel time charges and wait time for ordering specialised parts, it is best to provide us with as much information as you can about your automation system, including the brand and model type, an in depth description of the issues you are having with it and if possible, pictures of the system, any visible broken parts and accessories like remote controls, intercoms, keypads, safety beams, etc..
